What you should know about Animal Health Centre Veterinary Clinic
Senior Veterinary Surgeon and Owner Qualified 1994 with BVSc and BSc Massey . After five years working overseas he returned to live in Wellington and opened Animal Health Centre. Simon enjoys all aspects of veterinary practice, both medical and surgical, as well as the challenges of veterinary business. Over the years Simon has come to appreciate the relationships that can be made with clients and the role that good family’ practices like Animal Health Centre play within the community. After practicing in the UK Sue returned to New Zealand with her family in 2003.
Sue is from an accomplished medical family and she continues this tradition with her skills in veterinary medicine. She is a very capable, skilled, and well rounded veterinary surgeon, having worked in a variety of clinical settings both here and overseas. As well as time spent with her family, Sue enjoys walking her dog Polly, the best dog in the world apparently, and keeping fit. Another of Sue’s interests is growing peony flowers, which explains the large bunches that appear in the clinic once a year at harvest time. Vicky qualified in the Certificate Of Veterinary Nursing And Animal Care in 2002 and has been with the practice since 2003.
Rachael is always busy helping out and has been a hit with both clients and colleagues alike. Rachael enjoys helping animals and their owners and has plans towards further education within the veterinary field. In her spare time Rachael enjoys horse riding, eating out and socializing with friends. She also enjoys house hunting, but hasn’t mastered the art of house buying as yet. He loves food and sneaking out’ in equal parts, but unfortunately the food bowl and outside are in opposite directions du oh!. Having completed her Certificate Of Veterinary Nursing And Animal Care this year, Marita is the newest member of our team.
Animal Health Centre is a Veterinary Clinic and Animal Hospital located in Lower Hutt. We offer a full service medical and surgical facility and comprehensive veterinary care to Lower Hutt's pets. Being owner operated means our people have a vested interest in providing quality personal service. From a staff of two at the outset Animal Health Centre has grown to a team of nine today, including three vets, four vet nurses and our istration team.
