Over the last 18 years, Jo Goddard, principal trainer and owner of Canine Solutions has developed her own comprehensive training program to promote her philosophy of having a calm obedient dog’. Jo has worked extensively with packs of dogs, researching the dog’s natural communication signals and the importance of pack hierarchy. She has a comprehensive understanding of the protocols within the pack and the implications if there is confusion within the pack. Now Jo works with up to 60 dogs at our Canine Complex and is now teaching others how to understand pack dynamics and pack protocol, or in human words, how to interpret the silent language’ of the dog. Through Jo’s philosophy of gaining control through a harmonious relationship based on respect and trust you too can enjoy having a calm obedient dog. Jo started training dogs at a young age and was a senior instructor at her local dog obedience club at 18 years old. So with her natural talent and business background, she is now living her dream and is known and well respected, as one of Wellington’s leading dog behaviour specialists.

Our Canine Intricate at 63 Port Rd, Seaview, Under Hunt offers you a comprehensive service in all things dog. It is becoming very popular and we have lots of people and dogs turning up each week to enjoy this fresh Wellington initiative. Drop off and pick up is at our Canine Complicated at 63 Port Rd, Seaview, Below Hunt the huge orange building in Seaview. Bookings for our K9 pick up drop off service must be received by 1pm the day prior to ensure slick running of our daycare.
Within that load there is a hierarchy and there are definite jobs and responsibilities the top order undertake to guard the pack. Then both you and your dog can enjoy your walk and have fun! We run classes at Karori, Lyell Bay, Porirua and Under Hunt. Toilet training Mouthing biting Inactive arrangements Feeding Nutrition Precede walking Exercise Grooming Vehicle safety Your puppy will learn. In the visit you will learn how sure jobs and responsibilities within the pack affect your dogs behavior and how by tapping into your dogs automatic way of thinking you can make all the difference in their behavior and experience the outstanding transformation!.
At Canine Solutions we like to labor with the dog beginning in the load environment and once the dog has been sorted then we introduce the owner into the pack. For dogs living outside our routine pick up areas, we may charge an excess travel fee and persuade the day of pick up.
