Krystol T1 T2 system is a surface applied crystalline waterproofing treatment for concrete structures that is used to protect against the ingress of water. These photos are of inside a large water tank, which had been coated in bitumen to stop leaking from the tank. The tank also had cracks and holes, which needed repairing, using the Krystol Plug and Krystol Bari Coat before we could coat the structure with Aquella Waterproof Coating.
Used to make concrete, brick, stone, and other mineral surfaces water repellent whilst allowing trapped moisture to escape from the substrate. SILAC is very effective on Oamaru stone helping to maintain a clean and water repellent surface and preventing degradation.
