Palmerston North Maori Reserve Trust Environmental and cultural responsibility. The origin Palmerston North Maori Reserve Trust began in 1839 when the Fresh Zealand Company arrived in Port Nicholson and commenced a process of allocating land holdings to fresh settlers. This means that the Tenths are involved in many projects and activities in the Wellington region. We work with planning companies and bear them with cultural impact reports so that we can inform them and the Councils about our cultural landscapes and seek appropriate conditions on the consents.
The Wellington Tenths Believe and Palmerston North Maori Reserve Believe have been established since 1839 and 1866 respectively. Mark is also a trustee of Palmerston North Maori Reserve Trust, Port Nicholson Block Settlement Trust, Pipitea Mara Charitable Believe and Minos House community Trust. We also have an office located in Wellington's CAD at Te Raukura the Wharewaka on Taranaki Street Wharf.
