Petone Central Bowling Club came into being in June 2008 as a result of the merger between two former Clubs the Petone Bowling Club and the Central Bowling Club. Both Clubs were well established in the Petone area with the Petone Bowling Club being inaugurated in 1897 and the Central Bowling Club in 1917. The Club is located in Roxburgh Grove, Petone the former Central Bowling Club site

Unfortunately the Silverstream bowlers were uncatchable on the day but well done anyway to our team. For the men our Premier Reserve Section 2 team were 5th, Division 3 were 7th and our Quad 4th. Petone Central Bowling Club came into being in June 2008 as a result of the merger between two past Clubs the Petone Bowling Club and the Central Bowling Club.
Petone Central Bowling Club came into being in June 2008 as a result of the merger between two preceding Clubs the Petone Bowling Club and the Central Bowling Club. Our teams are Team 1 Jill Johns, Jim O’Brien, Bruce Hollow and Lynda Strutton Skip Team 2 Byron Isles, Lorraine Hollow, Doug Parker and Marie Yaxley Skip. Both Clubs were healthy established in the Petone area with the Petone Bowling Club being inaugurated in 1897 and the Central Bowling Club in 1917. Petone Central Bowling Club came into being in June 2008 as a result of the merger between two previous Clubs the Petone Bowling Club and the Central Bowling Club.
The Women’s Pennants were once again rained off on 19th January and the Men’s Pennants on 25th January. We hope we might get some of our Rebus members to become Bowling Club members over time. Petone Central Bowling Club came into being in June 2008 as a result of the merger between two former Clubs the Petone Bowling Club and the Central Bowling Club. In any year, no other month ever begins on the equivalent day of the week as May does.
Starting from this month the Petone Rebus Club formerly the Petone Combined probes Club will be holding their monthly meetings at the Club on the 4th Wednesday of the month. Both Clubs were well established in the Petone area with the Petone Bowling Club being inaugurated in 1897 and the Central Bowling Club in 1917. Many thanks to the Club members who came to the Club and marked on Saturday, 21st January when we had 1 green of Men’s center Singles. Non financial members wishing to join another Club will NOT acquire a Clearance Certificate.
We have 2 teams playing in this Men Brian Irwin, Paul Terry, John Battersby and Jim O’Brien and Women Sandra Prichard, Sharon Brooking, Yvonne horsey and Lynda Stevens
