What you should know about Phillips & OBrien Limited
After a few years he set up his own company Warren O’Brien Ltd working through Kiwi Carriers. While operating this business he was approached by Metro Waste to do their waste paper collection around the Wellington Region. Paper Chain commenced with 2 trucks and within 10 years 3 trucks were on the road. At this time Jim Phillips decided to move to Australia, and rather than to try and change the name to just Warren O’Brien Ltd, it was decided to keep Phillips O’Brien Ltd. After 2 years it was decide to expand this business and Warren now has 2 trucks operating daily to Auckland and back.
While all of this was happening Winstone International Pulp asked us to be responsible for delivery of their timber around the lower half of the North Island. Phillips O’Brien now have 7 trucks full time on collecting recycling for Carter Holt Harvey and 7 trucks, responsible for line haul and general freight around the North Island
If it is a palletised load or a loose container pack we have the resources to handle anything. With over 60 thousand square feet of warehouse space, we are capable to offer our clients a straight storage facility or a stuffed pick and pack service.
